Welcome! My name is Christina Bratzler. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in
Illinois and a trained Art Therapist. I look forward to meeting with you and learning about
your journey.
Every person’s journey is unique and important. It is my belief that the therapeutic
space should be a safe space and a space where clients can be listened to, respected, and
feel that they are not alone.
With many years of providing a safe and therapeutic space, I have worked with children,
adolescents, and adults to facilitate healing and growth. I have guided clients in the
therapeutic process to address areas such as trauma, abuse, grief/loss, transitions,
parenting challenges, depression/anxiety, and other life stressors. I have worked in a
variety of settings including in-home, community mental health, youth programs, a
domestic violence shelter, and private practices.
My approach to therapy is supportive, inclusive, collaborative, and person-centered. I
utilize various methods including but not limited to Motivational Interviewing, Art
Therapy, play interventions, Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Christina Bratzler is under the clinical supervision of Amanda Woollard MA, LCPC, NCC (IL license # 180007838)
